: please help me understand why this happened, I am not looking for suggestion to use other pieces of hardware, or changing the code to a whole other method of implementation, I'm trying to get what is going on with my code. LCD Graphic Display Modules & Accessories are available at Mouser Electronics. Arduino alphanumeric LCD shields with the PCF8574 I/O expander and I 2 C connection are also supported. I will put the parts of the code that I wrote, and also the circuit I have built in Proteus, ignore the buttons and the keypad as i have not yet implemented any code for them. The LCD signals can be allocated to any pin of any I/O port in any order, directly from the CodeVisionAVR IDE, providing maximal flexibility to the designer. also i have written 2 functions to give date and time a default value for the time being. I have implemented the code showing the time correctly, i have initialized the RTC too, but for some reason when I try to print the date, the year is scrambled up into some nonsense number, although the day and month are shown correctly. The image can be copied directly, or bit-level logical (AND, OR, XOR, NOT) operations can be performed between the image and screen contents.I have this project to build a clock / calendar with ATmega and ds1307 showing it on a 20*4 LCD (LM044L). Saving any rectangular portion of the screen as a bitmap image to RAM, EEPROM or any type of external memoryĭisplaying on the screen of a bitmap image stored in RAM, FLASH, EEPROM or any type of external memory.
